its over
Having the four day weekend was awesome! I had most of my class cancelled on friday so I got to leave early! I went home for the weekend and boy was it great. I was able to relax and not worry about any homework. I was able to finally play with my puppy again. Oh how I have missed him. I also got to watch my favorite NFL team get their butts handed to then...it was sickening to watch. It was nice being able to go watch a high school game and seeing a lot of my old teammates. Too bad they couldn't win. Also, this weekend I had the privilege of driving my grandpa's boat since he wasn't able to. Too bad I was driving it to the boat launch to take it out for the year. One good thing that happened this weekend was the Boilermakers won! They aren't the worst team in the Big10 after all!! But now the nice long weekend is over and its time to go back to the dreadful class schedule...

The four day weekend was much needed! After the attack of those nasty exams and the extreme overload of assignments, I feel like all the Purdue students deserved one, big time. Catching up on those missed hours of sleep was heavenly! Going further, I feel like fall break also acted as my wake up call. Realization dawned upon me and I figured that college is not a joke. I cannot just swim my way through college and pretend it being cake. College is hard and it demands commitment and work. No longer is this high school where it was partially okay to procrastinate and still be able to get away with things. Moreover, in college we have to fend for ourselves. There is not a single person that would pester us to finish our pending work and get on track. Here, we have to make our own decisions. This, according to me, makes it a lot tougher. But oh well, cannot wait for thanksgiving break to knock my door

The four day weekend was relaxing for me too. I hadn't been doing so well in some of my classes, and I was feeling a bit jaded with all the homework and midterms I was doing. I felt like if I had just a bit of breathing room, I could get everything together, pick myself up and start afresh. And that's exactly what I did over the weekend. I got some homework done, but I mostly used my spare time to relax with my friends, eat a lot of food, and sleep in.It really was the break that I needed. Now I just cannot wait for thanskgiving break to get here.

What NFL team were you watching? My fiancee just told me the Detroit Lions lost and he was pretty depressed about that... I really have no idea about all these teams, but I'm glad Purdue isn't the worse! Every time I go home, the men in my family have to say something to me about the Boilermakers, but I really have no idea what they're talking about:)
